The Neighborhood Naturalist

I am a former Elementary school teacher and associates degree forestry graduate and have spent almost 22 years as a Naturalist with the local Metro Parks.

Being certified as an Interpretive Guide (CIG) and as an Ohio Master Urban Farmer have fueled my soul for teaching about things that I love, especially earth-friendly backyard sustainability.

I spent time as a Wildlife Ambassador with the National Wildlife Federation teaching about creating wildlife habitat in your yard and I worked with the Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio Recycling Education Program which inspired my value to be a good earth steward.
